Prostitution has also been hurt by the September 11th attacks. Does that mean we're supposed to go to prostitutes to help the economy?

An informal Reuters survey found sex business booming in some parts of the world -- such as Nevada's legal brothels -- but prostitutes in other hot spots such as Amsterdam, Germany and Thailand reported a slide in their local sex trade.

When I grow up, I wanna work for Reuters doing informal surveys.

No, it means we're supposed to give them retroactive tax breaks.

Maybe the tragic event caused many people who used to hire prostitutes to re-evaluate their lifestyles and realize that they should be spending more time with their spouses and less time paying complete strangers to make love to them?

...Nah!

I think we should all pitch in and do our part, or piece of the war effort.

FDR said "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself...", maybe bush should say "the only people who can lick us is us !" or, er, hmmm....something like that.

The quote from the article that I like is Jessie saying "Demand fell 20 percent since the terrorism thing." How did she come up with that figure? Is she keeping track?

"Is she keeping track?"

Prostitution is a big industry with millions flying around, of course they track info, and where its legal the local IRS wants its cut.

Maybe the Red Cross and United Way will redirect some of the Sept 11 Funds toward these unfortunates! Or begin a new fund "Bucks for F%@ks"

Whats frighting is the slowdown in American travel has hurt the world-wide sex industry. Then again.. American is the Sex Superpower
