I *was* going to go back to my alma mater, Pie Lake College, next spring to get my master's. Now it looks like I won't have to. Thanks, Magic Mill!

It would make an interesting social experiment to create a few different phony identities, with degrees from this place, and letters, etc., and see how much "cash value" can be made out of them. Apply for different jobs, see how many real offers come in. Could be worth a 60-minutes skit -er - special.

Job offers? Nah, just throw a couple of good-sounding school names on your résumé. If you're more than 5 or 6 years out they never check those. Fake diplomas are for hanging on walls, preferably over a bookshelf or artwork so that nobody can get too close.
