Cat tries to eat octopus; octopus has other ideas. Perhaps not safe for cephalofiles. (slyt)
That is some serious "oh no! wait! I regret this course of action!" cat reversing.

I won't be able to watch this until later, so I'm wondering if this is more like Alien or more like Oldboy?

Very much like Alien, although I don't believe John Hurt's character went back to snack on the facehugger.

Strange Interlude: yes. Throw some Peter Cottontail / Mr. McGregor in there at the end, and you pretty much have the story.

This seems to be an example of Always a Bigger Fish, with the octopus as protagonist.

I love that the cat just won't give up on eating the octopus, even after being smacked for it. Single-minded little kitties.

The guy removes the octopus from the cat's mouth, then holds the cat right next to it, ensuring that the cat will try again. Someone should have smacked him!

i'm guessing the octopus has such good coverage over the cat's eyes and whiskers that it triggered its back-up reflex

I kinda wished the cat would spring onto the dude's face, octopus-style. That would've elevated this video.

I don't speak (Korean?) but I like to think that the guy at the end was saying to the film crew, "look guys, don't just sit there and watch the cat eat my octopuses. That's not on. What's wrong with you?"

I didn't like the cat getting smacked in the face by the person. By the octopus, sure.

I thought the cat had impressive nerve. He got the octopus off his face when a lot of animals (and people) would've freaked out and ran in a random direction.

yeah, he got it off and then resumed trying to eat it. He's like, whatever, shrug it off, get back to eatin. Perseverance. A "Hang in there, kitty" for a new generation.

Next up: cat steals, opens, and chugs from soju bottle to wash down the octopus leg.
The show is called Dongmul Nongjang, literally Animal Farm. The Korean at the end isn't so interesting. The presumed farmer first berates the cat, yelling "You! Are you gonna eat that whole thing!". Then, towards the interviewer, he says something like: "This thing [cat] is like a ghost. Give him one moment and he runs off real quick. He's a real thief, this one."
