I think their teachers should be punished for undoing all the efforts that others have put in to trying to get teenagers not to post stuff on the internet that will be used embarrass and humiliate them.

That's pretty common in Australia. If I get a phone call from an Aussie, they'll usually ask me this instead of 'how are you'.
