Best known for creating the nostalgic mash-up REMEMBER series (previously), Youtube user Thepeterson teams up with Slackstory to create another video clip time machine: REMEMBER 1994
Jagged Aliance, X-Com and Master of Magic. Not a bad year.

1994 is the year where, when something came out, I'd refer to it as 'new' and it would be forever 'new to me. As in, I still think of Monster as R.E.M.'s new album, because it came out after Automatic for the People, which was the first CD I ever owned.

Speaking of Monster, has critical opinion come around on that one yet? I mean, following up a masterpiece like Automatc... is never easy, but I never got the hate for that album. I loved it unreservedly. Still do.

It's grown on me over the years, and now it's in my regular album rotation.
In other 1994 news: Vitalogy is still the dark horse choice for best Pearl Jam album.

I ended up following the REMEMBER link and then watched 1986, when I was 16. OMG the feels.

I was surprised to see Sensible Soccer, System Shock and the woefully terrible Rise Of The Robots in there.

Am I completely fucking insane, or did I not see a clip of Beverly Hills 90210 in that video?

Yep, this is almost exactly when I stopped paying attention to pop culture. So it all still feels current to me!
