I appreciate the stealth Jerry Maguire reference they threw in towards the beginning, for that extra twinge of mid-'90s nostalgia.

I'm in the middle of a marathon of The Electric Company right now, and I'm more convinced of Morgan Freeman's greatness than ever before. Indeed, he may have peaked too early, he's just THAT GOOD.

Nice 90s NiN reference at the end. Ha.

The bit where he stops and goes back for the $5 rebate just killed me.

Do we really need to worry about spoilers for a (Jesus, really? 19?) 19 year old movie?

MTV Movie Awards parody with William Shatner as Captain Kirk, William Shatner as T.J. Hooker, and William Shatner as William Shatner, host of Rescue 911.

Putting the spoiler beneath the fold isn't all that effective, really.

What's under the fold?! WHAT'S UNDER THE FOLD?!!!

Morgan Freeman's voice is a fine voice, and worth satirizing.

I agree with the second part.

And, uh, also the first part.

Nice 90s NiN reference at the end. Ha.

I think it's more specifically a reference to the remix of "Closer" in the opening credits of the movie.

Isn't it ironic?

I liked the remixes of Closer way more than the radio hit version of the song. The version called Closer to God most of all.

edit: NSFW. REALLY NSFW

Sorry I wasn't more specific.

This was pretty ok, but to be honest, he does it better himself: Mmmm, just listen to that rich molasses...

I happened to watch Jerry Maguire last week, but I did not catch the reference. Can anyone point it out?
