This Hotline Miami 2 trailer has insipred this Source Filmmaker remake of the same trailer with TF2 characters.
The song used was by Carpenter Brut - Escape From Midwitch Valley
Which, btw, was one of the artists who exposed me to the paris / retro 80s / electro music genre that has been gaining traction the last few years. Kavinsky is a big name in the genre.

very excited for this game (and the soundtrack)
That said, this remake video is EXCELLENT. I'm actually blown away at how great the animation is, particularly the part about half way through when the person jumps off the wall.

The remake video's link goes to the 47 second mark, which is probably not the best place to start watching the video.

The version with the TF2 characters looks like every game of TF2 I play, provided I'm on the blue team.

Ufh! Now that's some great action animation. I really think SFM is going to lead to a generation of very skilled animators, with most (or all?) of the toolset to create basically feature-length, feature-quality work.
The future!

Because of Source Filmmaker, the TF2 guys (and one community-contributed girl) are becoming like cultural icons, stars of thousands of YouTube videos.

My all-time favorite, indeed, except I prefer the 10 HOUR VERSION. BOOM!

I think this is probably the best topic to discuss this as any. Just WHAT is the story for Hotline Miami 1? Is the Biker storyline just a "what if", since Jacket is confirmed for Hotline Miami 2?
In HM 1, there were many masked killers (in addition to biker, you found an alligator guy, a fish guy, Richter, and of course the guy hooked up to explosives in the room.). What made jacket special to be targeted by Richter?
