"A collector of walking sticks is termed a rabologist"

Artist Mike Stinnett carves one-of-a-kind walking sticks out of a single piece wood, often with elaborate rattlesnakes motifs.
I really love the one with the mouse on the top, and the snake climbing up below.

My collection of walking sticks sits in a closet. The one I use was made for a hoe. Sturdy and cheap.

Some nice carving -- and reasonably priced given how much work they must take, but they look like they'd be too heavy and unbalanced to use as actual walking sticks.

I love the snake and mouse one. They don't look particularly functional to me, but I don't care.

Wow. These are amazing.
I'd hate to walk into a dimly lit room and see one of these on the floor--at first glance, they're way too lifelike for comfort.
