Some cybergoths meet for a rave under a bridge. If only they knew they could have more fun with their choice of music.

As an ex-goth (though not cybergoth - I don't think that had been invented when I was a teenager) I have nothing but affection for the little scamps. A corner of my heart will always be painted black.

Well, if Penn Gillette ever does a biopic, the kid with the goatee has a future in acting as "young Penn."

What's hilarious--assuming this was recorded recently--is almost every raver archetype is there except for the candy kids.

When I saw the title, I feared it would be a depiction of a goth rave being broken up by a passing train. (My area has had a few accidents lately with trains and the choo-choos are a local issue.)

Gotta dance.

I think it's really strange how standardized some of these looks are... I mean you see that acid-green cyber dread miniskirt furry-leggings gasmask deal replicated down to the molecule in EVERY SINGLE industrial dancing video ever made. Same with the shirtless rave-borg in a floor length utili-skirt. Are there kits?!

Bro in the white Andrew WK costume has my respect for following his bliss.

They all just look like video game characters to me.

I wonder if, now that JNCO is coming back, the candy kids will start wearing pants again.

I fell down a rabbit hole of hip hop songs set to various goth kid dances on vine the other night. It was intense. What I learned: Hip hop kids love goth dancing.

I'm pretty sure this is the Atlanta Beltline, and the bridge is the one between the skate park and king of pops.

Could be wrong tho.

It sounded like they were speaking German (which is pretty goth in itself, true) but they were speaking it pretty well.

At least with the gas mask you have plausible deniability later.

I feel kind of sad that I have never been to a rave. They just seem so... into it.

The goths I was gothy with when i was a kid would have been delighted by this. Part of the fun of looking all dour and morose on the inside is that you can subvert expectations by being fucking GOOFY AS HELL.
