I saw that image, and I just thought all kids look like that.
But then I read about IS/ISIS/ISIL/Deash/The Love Symbol fucking up that refuge camp in Syria just about now and I was so depressed. I can't even imagine.... what they are thinking.

The sad part is that I know several few Iraqi refugees, and Syria used to be one of their possible escape choices, although the ones I know were thankfully able to proceed directly to safe refuge in the United States.
