Experts have discovered the identity of Pingu's spoken language: English in an Irish accent. (Bleeped, but possibly still not feckin' worksafe, y'old bollocks.)
I'd hate to face them in a bare-knuckle underground fight. Dead mother or not.

I thought I had blocked out all memories of this show from when my daughter was a toddler. Absolutely one of the most obnoxious voice acting casts of any animated series I've ever seen. This dub makes Pingu a jillion times more tolerable.

Meeeeb meeeeb I say to that. It's difficult to talk through a plasticine funnel and please everyone.
(the more obnoxious part is probably that kids pick up on it all and all of a sudden, conversations at home deteriorate...)

I'd watch these, but I'd be terrified one of my kids would walk in and say, "But you said Pingu was forbidden from our house forever!!!"
At least they're on to more educational fare now, like "The Magic Schoolbus Performs a Colonoscopy."

Show them this and explain that you'd only seen the early pilot episode before the show's writers had found their voice.

I did mention in this thread that I have a child, right? Deciding to watch everything she's watching as a matter of principle is challenging at times, but Pingu's voice casting takes my patience to places it has never been before.
