Well, asshole comments aside rhizome23, this is a double post. Come down to the British troops thread Midas. I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Oops. Damn. Still not certain how to fully check for redundancy here. Terribly sorry.

Eh, after you write your post, google your keywords in the MeFi search...that's how I found it. Plus, I've seen it here before.

Actually, via the Director of Marketing at my office. Don't know where she got it. She sent it to me and asked if I knew of any similar profiling in the EU.

I had missed this the first time around, so double post notwithstanding, thanks, Midas.

The director of officing at your market reads fark. The directors at my office send my spam because they think I'm a bunch of lazy drinks.

well, as someone who doesn't read fark.com and realizes that 18 march (a Monday, no less) is an amnesty day of sorts, thanks midas.
They pegged me 2 of 25.
I did the google searches (even linking within posts that mention metafilter, I gave up after 20 minutes, not to mention server times out on Metafilter search). This is the first time I've paid attention to the link, perhaps. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Excellent. Where I live, apparently we like to take our cats to Wal-Mart to buy chain-saws, used cars and flea & tick products. Then, on our way to Sea World, we do target shooting out the window of the train.

And to think, just a couple years ago we were the Silicon Village. The times do change...

Screw fark. Good link, Midas.

Now I understand why I keep getting those dang "Girlfriends" catalogs

Damn. I gotta move.

So, this link gives me hope. I'll be moving this summer, and--apparently--the place I'm moving to is exactly like the place I'm moving from. That makes me smile.

Any luck, Midas?

Sheesh. Of course, things hit fark because they're being mailed around, and get mailed around because they hit fark.

Midas, to say the least, doesn't seem to fit the ... uh ... fark "lifestyle group". Too many words, you know, well-chosen.

I knew I was in "shotgun and pickups" territory already. I just wish it hadn't been confirmed!
