Steve, from the children's show "Blue's Clues," is recording an album with members of The Flaming Lips. And he's got a cool webpage (built with help from Paul Ford of ftrain). (Via pitchfork.)
There's not too many things that are cuter or funnier than a bunch of excited toddlers shouting at the TV in response to Blue's "clues".

Ok, that site was just plain fun to click around.
I'm glad Steve is enjoying life after Blue's Clues and I wish him well. But my children will never forgive him for leaving us with Joe. I mean.... Joe?!?

A friend of a friend in NYC works out at the same gym that Steve does, and he said it was always strange seeing him in real life since he's got a "black wardrobe-tatooed-East Village-hipster" look going. I just hate him because whenever I'd watch Blue's Clues with my nieces I'd get that stupid "We've got mail" song stuck in my head for a week.

Am I insane, or is steve kinda, well, cute?
Windigo, I've been saying that for years. I'm so glad I'll be able to ogle him in a more adult setting now!

Excuse me, jalexei, you so need to tell us what gym my hot new future ex-husband Steve is working out in so I can stalk him properly. Mmm. I've got a clue for Steve.

Steve is the new Wil Wheaton.
I saw him on, was it "Law and Order"? a couple years back, playing a murderous teenager. He was very Steve-like.

Steve on Law and Order? In the gym? Making a rock album? (Troposphere is good, by the way) It's so hard to picture these things. Well, no matter what he ends up doing, I know that it will be good, and his heart will be in the right place.
FWIW, my wife thinks he's cute, too.

Oh dear lord. My son watches Blues Clues, and I always thought of him as a complete wacko. But, who I really want to see in an adult setting, is that chick from the big ass couch show. Molly and her Big Ass Couch? I can't remember the name, but I bet she's a freak.
Those rollovers are hysterical.

I like the site design. Why can't I ever think of cool stuff like that?
