David Dockery brings us Pepe Silvia with drums.
That is genius. And I know nothing of drumming or David Dockery.

A rhythmic version of the delightful Harmonizer uploader?

This is unreasonably pleasing.

I saw this earlier on (the nearly deceased, soon to be reincarnated) mlkshk and was totally unfamiliar with that Always Sunny clip but found the whole goddam thing delightful regardless.

i guess this is the time to express my personal theory on this scene: charlie is misreading pennsylvania to get the name pepe sylvia, right? i gathered this from the very first time i saw this episode but i have never ever ever seen somebody mention this online. anyway maybe you're minds will be blown but maybe you'll all be like "yeah duh".

I do love that IASIP clip. The best part is that, since Charlie is illiterate, he's misread the "Pennsylvania" portion of the address on all of the office's mail as "Pepe Silvia." Drum solo only strengthens the riff.

The writer of the episode says the Pepe Silvia —> Pennsylvania thing was not something he had in mind or intended to be interpreted into it by the audience, killdevil. Nor "Care of HR" for Carol in HR, etc, though though it's a clever take on it.

I was disappointed to find out, too, defenestration & JimBennett. It makes perfect sense given Charlie's inability to read (e.g door marked 'pirate').

Hah yeah. It really is a great explanation.
Here's the twitter convo where one of the episode's writers clarified they didn't have it in mind.

cwill: "More from the 'drums set to speech' department"
Y'know, I listened to that when you linked it, and was distracted by the visuals, and didn't particularly care for it because I was like, "I want more of this enthusiastic and very direct drums-to-speech thing like in the Sunny video, and this is a poor replacement."
But I listened to it again when I got home, more than once.
And then I found their Bandcamp page and idly listened to this track enough that Bandcamp was like, "Okay, buddy, maybe you want to give these guys some money now or something?"
but I didn't necessarily care for the entire album, so I only bought the one track
and have now listened to it literally dozens of times. I can't describe why it's so catchy to me, but it is, and I've enjoyed the lyrics and the back story about the real life Mr. Maps and anyway I wanted to come back and say thanks! Because I really enjoyed that track. A lot. A whole lot.
