This album tells the story of the 2020 presidential election. The voice you hear is Dan Carlin, but he didn't say any of this stuff. Hardcore Prophecy: the Trump of Doom is an astonishing, hallucinogenic video telling the imaginary and heavily cannibalistic apotheosis of Donald Trump. Music and story by Dan Warren, images from SA goons.
CW: cannibalism, descriptions of orgies in breach of both House and Senate rules
i kinda like it. too bad the creator went for the easy snark. coulda been terrific deadpan satire.
i like dc. this could not have been made without his narrative style - lots of pregnant pauses.

spoke too soon...not liking the co-opted images of the holocaust or real disaster victims.

Given how completely conventional satire fails for these times (the latest Alec Baldwin SNL sketch) this (23 min in) does seem to be in the spirit of the times, in how drastically out of the box craziness is becoming the norm, from insult comic nuclear brinkmanship with N Korea, to treatment of Puerto Rico, to Roy Moore's nomination--so far this seems about the right tone.

It's not voice manipulation afaik, it's just taking clips where he's said that word or phrase and slotting it in. Mental.

If this is too much, I recommend Dan Warren's 2011 album Son of Strelka, Son of God, a creation myth created in a similar manner, but using the voice of Barack Obama. It has some really great moments.

I quite liked this. I didn't watch much, just played it in the background. Can't wait to see this IRL. :/

I thought it was really funny and well done. There were a few parts that didn't make sense, but for the most part it came across as a sorta consistent narrative. Thanks for posting!
