Nearly 17 years ago Metafilter was introduced to Tunak Tunak Tun. And now, AN EPIC METAL VERSION by Bloodywood.
Tunak Tunak Tun sped up every time Daler says Tunak if that's more your speed.

What's the best part of the 17-year old Metafilter thread?
Is it It's 6Mb, you ought to let people know that. FYI. or what?

Starts slow, gets better. I can't stop watching the guitarist, who looks like an incredibly talented classical guitarist that (by clothing) has been roped into this by his wrong-side-of-the-tracks friends but (by movements) is the most metal of all of them.

Gotta say, I am not the happiest with the world I live in, but this makes it a little bit better.

The good news is: this video is so awesome, it will (almost) offset the reminder that we are aging far more rapidly than we would like.

I thought it was going to be a metal cover of Da Da Da by Trio, but this is much more delightful!

Am I the only one who prefers SHAA RA RA? (note: that is how the name of the song looked when I downloaded the mp3, the name came already in all-caps).

numaner - this has been one of my legit favorite songs since i first heard it from that white college type (i am white but a high school dropout). it's on my "bootyshakin'" playlist and i took great pains back in the day to learn the dance moves totally shitfaced. i actually had a tiny asthma attack dancing to it today while i was putting this post together. i know why people mocked it, but i don't know ~why~ people mocked it, you know? from top to bottom it's a great package of entertainment.

(one of the reasons i went ahead and linked the old thread - besides the coincidence of it being a little over a week and 17 years ago - is i loved how the thread is filled with people saying "this isn't funny! this is fun)

This is delightfully edited. I also checked out their take on "Mundian To Bach Ke" and couldn't stop laughing at intro, especially the nod to El Chupacabra.

Not bad! I was unaware of the original, and I didn't even need a 4-digit UID to get it!
