Jambinai are a Korean post-rock band who use a variety of traditional Korean instruments in their songs. Earlier this year they played at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics with about a hundred hyeungyom players.

i thought their contribution to the closing ceremonies was the best part. so i looked 'em up. i dig 'em.

I remember discovering them in 2010 and thinking that they were quite cool and post-modern, 180 degrees from what traditional music sounded like. Cool stuff that they got to do the closing ceremony.
