Eric Idle and John Cleese (of Monty Python) sit down in front of an audience and reminisce about John's life and career. [1h17m] Recorded in late 2014 as John was doing promotion for his memoir, "So, Anyway...". Charming and hilarious. Enjoy!

I'm off to see Idle being interviewed about his new book at the Cheltenham Literature Festival later today. If he says anything interesting, I'll let you know.

John Cleese has a book coming out tomorrow! It's a compilation of his lectures from Cornell. The mister graduated the year before Cleese became a visiting professor, and we're all very excited to take turns reading the book.

A thoroughly enjoyable 1h17m. I was mentally on the edge of my seat the whole time, waiting for someone to say the post title.

I can't imagine that anyone in the US would remember Python if they had sold off the concept of the show.

Here's a video of Mr. Cleese sitting down with metafilter's own John Hodgman, as part of the same book promotion tour.
