The irony! GIF was originally a static 256 color image format. Even now "gif" to most people means "a short movie without any sound", so where does the music come from?

This GIFaanisqatsi seems to work though! I wonder how they sourced the images to use? Also matching time lapse / slow-mo to different speeds of the music.

Ten seconds in and it's already hilarious. What a great idea. (Note that you get a different selection of slow-mo GIFs every time, so no two viewings are alike.)

I got some amazing running Komondors as one of the first slo mo clips, and an Adventure Time mural as the first time lapse, so 14/10 A+++ would Koyaanisqatsi again

Koyaanisqatsi story time. I got to see parts of it remastered into 4k (ages ago when 4k was still experimental) on one of the only streaming 4k projectors in the US. It was awesome.

The first slow-mo shot after the "time-lapse" shots was a bunch of hazelnuts falling into chocolate, which I thought was pretty great.
