I don't think anyone has ever estimated how many people Marie Curie directly killed with the nuclear material she spread all over herself, her still-contaminated house south of Paris, and whatever places she happened to travel through. Seriously, she walked around with test tubes of radium and polonium in her pockets spreading contamination wherever she went.
