Lovely movie, though with some elements that sit a little uneasily today perhaps with some of the relationships depicted being a bit predatory.

While Wilder is the most famous person involved in the movie, several others who took part in directing it also went on to Hollywood. Edgar Ulmer, most famous for Detour or The Black Cat, Fred Zinnemann, High Noon and From Here to Eternity, and Robert and Curt Siodmak, Robert directed Burt Lancaster in The Killers among other films, while Curt was more noted as a writer for movies like The Wolfman and House of Frankenstein. Wilder, as far as I know, just helped write People on Sunday, while the others did more of the filming.

I was surprised how modern the city and people in 1930 Berlin looked.
