An allegory, the literal truth; allegorical tales are strictly the preserve of the new testament, which this is quite ovbiously not.

My excitement at being posted to the MeFi front page is accompanied by slight disappointment that no one found my little half-witticisms discussion-worthy, but that disappointment is more than compensated for by the fact that no one has taken it upon themselves to tear me new one.
