This was a very quick foster to adopt time-line.
I hope his birth parents were given the opportunity to work on reunification. I also hope this child wanted his class to come and is receiving support for his losses.

I can't tell from the article if "last August" means 2019 or 2018 - am assuming the latter since four months to adoption seems unlikely - but I can tell you "Wealthy Elementary School" made my eyes roll. Really, writers? Do better.
