The drop bear is a predatory relative of the koala bear.

This is what happened when a British reporter recently encountered one.

(Serious, heady stuff predominates on Metafilter. This, meanwhile, is mischievous Aussie humor at it very best. Enjoy, and be very careful next time you find yourself in koala country)
