In the weeds.

The 13-week Shamanic Apprentice program at Laughing Rock Farm doesn't pull punches. Its leader, herbalist Susun S Weed, leaves no confusion when she describes the program on its website. Susun yells, [telling] apprentices that they stupid, uncaring, mean, and non-mindful . . . Some shamanic apprentices sneak away in the night. In late September, Susun S Weed was arrested. The charge: harassment, a misdemeanor.According to police, on several occasions between Sept. 12 and 16, Weed allegedly directed several “threatening phrases” toward an apprentice, including "I’m going to kill you," and "If you ask more questions I’m going to f***ing flatten you."

This post was deleted for the following reason: So ... not really seeing what makes this worth a post? This author / instructor person basically did what she said she would in the large print, apparently? And one lesser known media source seems to be reporting the misdemeanor charge? (can't read it from where I am.) If there's something that makes this more significant than it appears, please contact us! Thanks. -- taz
