Did people do this stuff in mirrors and I was just too uncoordinated to be invited to secret dance moves in the basement sessions? Or is this a whole new phenomena?

I have someone in my twitter who was an original singer in the original Oh oh oh O'Reilly's jingle. The world is a strange place.

"Save big money at Menard's..."

It already has a trap remix. I see your Menards and raise you "Lebeda Mattress Factory".

Not much dancing, but here is the ultimate remix of pretty much every Boston-area TV jingle over the past 40 years.

Oh these are great! I watched a lot of them: they are professional dancers; they are dating, they met at a Six Flags contract, and they are at the woman's parent's house in North Carolina due to the pandemic -- otherwise they're based out of NYC.

So I see this as two people practicing their craft and entertaining the world as well as each other :3

Now, I don't feel so odd, punching my fist into air, as I drive my car, O 'Reilly Auto Parts!!

Oh, O'Reilly, you've been overplaying ads and selling the shittiest batteries since I started listening to the radio.

Oh fuck yes. Dada-ists and Burroughs and other devotees of the cut-up method probably wish they could live in the here and now. Cut up everything. Remix everything. Reinterpret everything and have a fucking blast while you do it. Transformative media for the fucking win.

On just reading the posting's title my brain went "So a Haynes/Clymer-like manual, but what animal on the cover?"

(probably a beaver, as the prototypical industrious animal)

I shared the video with him. His response was "that gig is the gift that just keeps paying itself forward".

Speaking of industrial musicals, Bathtubs Over Broadway is on Netflix. It's great.
