This post was deleted for the following reason: eesh, no shame in not having seen every video before posting but this guy sure seems to have milkshake ducked himself with the whole militia/white power thing in one of these videos -- cortex

Strong vibes of The Room (game, not movie).

Okay for furniture, I guess, but installing a trap in your vehicle is a felony in many places. See the 'Crime' of Having a Hidden Compartment in Your Car.

These are pretty great.

The wizard and pirate's tables, though, if I'm honest, would give me a way of misplacing my keys more times in a single day than the number of times I leave the house in an entire week.

Was very impressed. Then I saw the 'Murica table and honestly, the wonder was somewhat dampened.

The engineering is great but the wood is low grade

Then I saw the 'Murica table

Thanks for the warning. I was going to share these vids with my dad, who does woodworking, but I think we'll take a pass. Appreciate the heads up.

That was my thought. If you are going to spend 200+ hours on a table why not work with nicer material. The table will be more durable and the additional cost essentially wouldn't nudge the final price at all. At a minimum select out for individual boards that have nicer grain. I wonder if it is an intentional esthetic choice; at least for the pirate and wizard tables. Or maybe he is sourcing the material from a personal wood lot or something.

Ditto the 'Murica table; but I was going to comment that a little more attention to his woodworking (and better wood) would make these constructions so much better. He's obviously got some nice skills (some of his woodburning art is very nice) but his (lack of) attention to detail shows.

He doesn't work with better wood because the rough grain covers his errors, and makes big shadows to cover the secret joints. If he planed everything, he would have a hard time making such fine joints as to be undetectible. He flashed the white power sign during the video.

So, you could say, he just completed a contract for a 3%er, but he personally flashed the white power sign during the making of the Murica table video. Supporting his work supports that kind of thinking. The table supports the violent activities of those movements.
