It's amazing to imagine being a young teen bringing a lawsuit to overturn a state education policy that's twice as old as you are (Eli Bundy, who succeeded in getting South Carolina's "No Promo" policy overturned). (Kudos also to the various adults who helped these young people use the legal system as minors, to make the world a better place for everybody.)
Homoglobin is a great name (the nonprofit Austin Houck founded to advance queer equality in healthcare and education).
It's wonderful to read the inspirations they cite, too, from James Baldwin and Audre Lorde to Harvey Milk and Marsha P. Johnson to Freddie Mercury to state senators, and a couple of them just say "too many to name": I could happily spend a couple of days clicking through to learn more about all the things these amazing young people are doing.
They are all so inspiring.
