Warsaw's Equality march had a top-shelf politician leading it for the first time - Trzaskowski, mayor of Warsaw and the guy who lost the presidency by a nose last year. Closest thing we have to a spiritual leader of the opposition at the moment. This and the European Parliament declaring Europe an LGBTIQ freedom zone gives me a little bit of hope.

Also Flying Tiger Copenhagen was the unofficial sponsor of the march - at least half the participants had their rainbow totebags, rainbow umbrellas or both! Of course, the rainbow totebag is a registered assault weapon in the hands of people over 65.
