61 Books By Women of Color to Read in 2022. Rare Toni Morrison short story to be published this month. 24 Must Read 2022 Books in Translation. 25 Cookbooks to Look Forward to in 2022. 49 Books We Can't Wait to Read in 2022. 55 Books We Can't Wait to Read in 2022.
Thank you! I am always looking for more books to add to my TBR. Popsugar's yearly challenge is listed in Roundup but has a link to the 2021 list for some reason. Here is the 2022 list.
LibraryThing has a Category Challenge where people sort of make up their own categories and also do CATs, which are monthly themes in specific categories. For example, the Shakespeare category has King Lear as the monthly theme for January. I reread A Thousand Acres, but others are reading books with theme about Aging or Father-Daughter relationships.

Thank you for this! In the last few years I’ve been consciously increasing the number of books I read by people of colour (yes, a flawed label as the first article’s author points out). It’s so helpful to have lists of recommendations.
As a side note, I have moved to only assigning literature written by women, people of colour, or LGBTQ+ authors in my intro to lit classes. I am really enjoying it, first of all because we read so many great authors, but also because I feel like I’m sticking it to the man.

80 Queer and Feminist Books Coming Out Winter 2022 [autostraddle]
Not sure if these are recommendations or more trying for an all inclusive topical/thematic list but, gives me the same feeling of being utterly overwhelmed as the other links so feels like it belongs!

Thanks for the addition! I love reading challenges (even though I suck at completing them), and was also just saving up links about different books coming out, so I thought I would share. If anyone has any more recommendations or challenges, feel free to add!
