It's Spanish, sounds like Argentinian, probably from Buenos Aires. And 'la papa' refers to, at least in Argentina and Chile, baby food.

Definitely Spanish. I always heard it called la papita (in Ybor City Cuban).

I was gonna ask! My brain short circuited a little and kept trying to recognize Italian words because of the cadence, even though the video is clearly in Spanish.

While I agree it is not necessary, knowledge of Spanish greatly improves one's experience of the video.
