"Soil scientist and anime catgirl Iris, stumbles upon the papers and reads them casually on Friday morning..." @AteAPi (STwitterLink) summarizes the past few days in physics which have been positively gonzo. Tl;DR: scientists seem to be replicating some initial findings which support a possible room-temperature superconductor. If it's true and scalable, the discovery would be as consequential as the transistor.
