Jon Stewart returns to the Daily Show. After months of guest hosts and pleas for help, Stewart will return to the desk on Mondays starting February 12. Correspondence will fill in Tuesday and Thursday. This ensures The Daily will have a going-forward plan for the 2024 election.

There is a small part of me that has been disappointed by things too much in the past to really believe this.

I feel like he had valid personal reasons for leaving in the first place; it remains to be seen whether his reasons for returning are equally valid.
