Schplerter. Schplutz! Sklop, splerd, and splood, too! No, I'm not cussing you out. I am telling you to get thee hence to the Museum for Non-Primate Art, where you can learn what these terms mean, as well as see cats dance and paint!
Barf. I can say from experience, though, that my cat looooves watercolor water. The stupid little shit.

interrobang,
I hear many cats begin dancing after they drink the watercolor water they just painted with. The two seem to be linked, scientists are perplexed.

Where I grew up, we have elephants who paint, too.

I know the PR/publicist person who put out the "Why Cats Paint" publicity campaign for Ten Speed Press over in Berkeley. It was one of her first gigs at Ten Speed and we still laugh about it sometimes. Apparently they decided to play it as deadpan as possible, as though this work was actually done by cats -- the same premise the book was put out under. And funnier still, there are people to this very day who don't get the joke. Calls still trickle in years later from people who want to get their cat into the art scene.
