"We don’t negotiate with un-humans." One of the most openly fascist public quotes I've seen. They certainly seem assured of their rise to power.

The infiltration of the Heritage* Foundation by a group of furry hackers has been amusing to watch. Curious where that data goes next.

(* I'm not sure how the word 'heritage' became to be used by every right-wing christo-fascist group out there in America but I'm glad the signal exists.)

Also “Crusader,” which was the name all our sports teams used when I was a fundie kid going to a private religious school that was in the same building as the church. Ironic they embrace that label so heavily when they’d gladly skin a Catholic alive, but it’s an inevitable byproduct of all the chest-thumping militancy cosplay.

To the Democrat party I say: I have nothing to discuss with you when you are letting criminal migrants rape and murder American citizens!

this is positively RICH from a member of the orange-utan's cabal.

I know this is petty of me but I really liked this line: "Vance is the ideal national conservative specimen, a man who preaches heartland values but wears a nice suit and looks like he sleeps in a vat of lotion."

The Left, he warned, is “totalitarian in its mission” and “practically jihadist in its theocratic fanaticism

They have to use new, more hyperbolic language because people's anger/fear/anxiety develops a resistance to the old language.

In a lot of ways they've just moved the old conservative Christian language over from atheist Soviet Russia and Communist China to American liberals.

These people do the "every accusation a confession" thing so hard and so often, I won't be surprised if, when civil war breaks out, their battle cry is "KILLING US WON'T SOLVE YOUR DADDY ISSUES OR MAKE YOU STOP THINKING ABOUT GAY STUFF!"

FTFThem

These folks seem disturbingly clueless about how detached they are from reality. From the premise that it’s always projection, though, wow they sure reveal a lot about their private selves.

They're mistaken. The second one started in 1861. America won that one too.

america won the pitched battle phase that finished in 1865, but after that there was a guerilla phase that lasted until the confederacy's victory in 1877.

There's no mystery about the language when you remember that there's a "...and that is why we must..." to follow, (whether actual or implied), and reality of the accusation be damned.
