You know it's from 2012 when an unfettered Twitter API is involved.
Maybe I was born in a previous life with a career that involved this tech, but despite never using one I've always nostalgically longed for a Telex machine. Maybe something to do with Good Morning Vietnam, which (perhaps?) introduced me to that exciting rip of paper, urgent scribbling and scrubbing, jam it in an official's hand so they can bark evacuation orders-kinda way?
