Your 4th weekly dose of female fronted metal:

This is kind of cheating: fan made remix of Aespa - Drama with a Djent backing, but the best K-Pop acts have always felt kind of metal, so it's cool.

This one is not a remix but it is dark and brooding: Clownus - hide and seek, defect live .
Not Enough Space - No Way Out is a cool mix of melodic singing and growls at the same time.
Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now by HANABIE is a definite vibe.

There's also Windhand, but I don't know if they're still active.

Myrkur has remained my favorite metal-ish act for the last few years. Admittedly she's maybe more folk/neofolk than metal, but that's suite me.

As some songs try Ulvinde, Onde Børn, or Mothlike. Also Angel Of Light by Me and That Man with Myrkur singing rocks too, but more country-ish.

This is so cool. Aespa has a very experimental, not-very-poppy sound to start out with, and this really brings that out.

The same channel also has a metal cover of the Aespa song Girls, as well as covers of the NMIXX songs Dice and Love Me Like This. I'm always intrigued by NMIXX covers because I think their songs have strong vocal performances and melodies, but very middling arrangements that do them no favours, so I like seeing them recontextualized.

Oh, absolutely. I've often had the idea, while listening to them or XG, "This would really work as a metal song", so finding these remixes was an aha moment. I also think Aespa's Supernova would be great.
