Queer, HIV-Positive, and Running Out of Medication in Gaza

the situation in Gaza is awful on such a vast scale that it's easy to overlook the myriad ways this disaster impacts lives. Here is one of those facets. People around the world live long healthy lives with HIV, with these amazing medications. Now we hear a story of one person who can no longer access those drugs. Because of a war fueled by hatred and greed.

I've worked with and photographed one of the authors, Afeef. He's an amazing advocate, always working tirelessly, and has a perspective on the Middle East that's not often heard.
