Good old fashioned mashup done very well. It does include essentially everybody.

Reminds me of the show I went to - The Replacements, maybe? - where the venue played rock songs of yore while we waited for the opening act. And when "Holy Diver" came on, people cheered like it was the return of the king.

That was something all right. The Immortal Sun Emperor seemed angry, then pleased, then wrathful again, but he is notoriously hard to please, even with everybody pitching in.

Yeah, it had me as soon as the first syllable of "Holy Diver" was sung, whereupon I hit pause so I can use it to wake me up after a nap. (Also, KC & SB were my favorites when I was 5.)

DAYYUMMM! And here I thought that this Bill McClintock Yes-Dazz Band-Dio-Van Halen-Devo-Lenny Kravitz mash-up I was going to post would be MeFi hot jam of the day.

Trivia: Sunshine Band co-founder Richard Finch did a 7 year stretch for dabbling in some things he oughtn’t have dabbled in.

If you watch the video, you'll find several more people that have done something they shouldn't have.

I refer, of course, to that Crazy Town video.

Not everybody, but a solid few!

Love these sorts of mashers.

Much better mashup than the usual movie clips of dancers to one song. One more channel to add to my subscriptions.

I didn't want to like it but I did.

Mrs Phancy and I went to see The B-52's last year and DJ Cummerbund was the opener. I think I was the only person in the audience that recognized his name when it was projected on the screen behind the stage. My wife was like "of COURSE you know who this goofy-looking guy is."

All he really did was play previously recorded mashups with accompanying video, and he KILLED it. It took like 90 seconds and he had everyone in the theater rocking.

This isn't even his best work: it's too neatly divided up into sections. Try this one, which is super sticky.
