At the beginning of 2025, a great comics heroine of the past finally returned after over half a decade... to discover that her good-for-nothing superheroine daughter Wonderella had been forced to pass her mantle on to her sidekick after causing some kind of pandemic. Today, the former Wonderita finally accepts the most challenging part of the legacy: "Catch me, lassie, and get me gold!" I had definitely put Wonderella on my "defunct" webcomics list back in 2023 or so. Sure hope Dr. Shark made it through the transition...

OMGOMGOMGOMG it never vanished from my bookmarks either and I still use my Wonderella icon on DW, but I don't know how long it would have taken me to go back to the archive and notice. Wonderella I missed you! But I really didn't expect her to come back for more than a nostalgic change of year post.

Bookmarks? Doesn't anyone use RSS anymore? Irregularly updating webcomics is like what that technology was made for!

I don't have a defunct webcomics list so much as I subscribe to Jeph Jacques' Patreon and occasionally remember that I used to read other webcomics pretty regularly and might see if they're still around. A relic of the Before Times... good times... le sigh.

I appreciate the use of Irish in the FPP title. Even if it would never be used that way.

As it happens, Journalfen took my Wonderella RSS feed with it when it went down and I never set up a new one because I'm sure it will come back any moment now.
