I can't open that link either. It's knackered/DDoS'ed/mefi'ed/boing-boinged.
There ought to be a general term for love-em-to-death DDoS, which happens all the time. I've tried using 'slashdotted' as a generic term, but then people assume the site was posted to Slashdot. Maybe aDDoS, 'accidental DDoS'? ffDDoS, 'friendly-fire DDoS'?

Yep. You're right, it's gone. I'm sorry. It really was interesting.

I like ffDDoS.
Farked works well, but it's the same as \.ed.

The guy who made it has full documentation of his trip to North Korea here. That's still up, at least.

It's very slow. You can look at Google's cached copy to at least read the text...

Maybe they nuked Google.

How about coining the term "slogged," i.e. slowed due to weblogs...

Pyongyang metro? - wouldn't that be an "HO" scale train set in Kim Jong Il's basement bomb shelter?

Then again, if the server's in NoKo, they're probably running a Commodore 64 on a generator attached to a water wheel. But just wait until they get their nuke generators back up to full power and their local sites'll run REAL fast.
BTW, I prefer avoiding double consonants and calling the phenomenon "FDOS", or just change it from "slashdotted" to "slashDOSed". (I've even heard the cablegeeks on TechTV refer to it as being "ScreenSavered". yeah.)

Not only that, there is the Guide to Pyongyang Tour, and the Pyongyang Metro map, and more. (Previously mentioned by Damienmce here.)
