Things going squish on my scanner - time lapse scanner fun with surprisingly cool results brought to you by Kamikazee Killmouse. I'm partial to the kiwi. His page of short animated choppings is also an amusing place to while away some time in a b3ta kind of way. (via j-walk)
It appears as though a baby terrapin lost its life for this bit of levity. I hope that one was a hoax.
Otherwise, very nice. I just wish the scanner lid was white so I could see the grapes squishing a little better.

I'm pretty sure the terrapin was a fake--that just didn't look like living-critter innards. But the second link has an icon of a similarly-squished mouse, so I don't know. Damn, I hope they were hoaxes.
I loved the banana, though--like a fan.

I loved the cheese triangle. How much more immortal it's become this way, rather than if it had just been scoffed.
Can we catalogue this with bubblewrap-popping and personal zit-bursting as the socially acceptable version of nonchalantly approaching one's cigar, in the excitement of a fair, to a young child's balloon?
[As for thanking madamjuju, I have decided that by far the greatest hommage to her searching and posting skills, as well as her addictive role in my cheerfulness, is to simply not mention her from now on. She is the first to ascend to my ça-va-sans-dire Hall of Greatness. :)]

That's where you're wrong, riffola. The pancake was the best one.
Ever heard of the phrase, "flat as a pancake"? Well, he actually squished a pancake! And it only slightly changed!
Brilliant, I tell ya!
Thanks for the link, madamjujujive.

heh. What is it about kiwis? That was the first link I clicked on, even before reading MJJ's kiwi comment.

The pancake one was a let down though.
