One of the things I most liked about Clancy's writing in the early novels was how well it flowed. His non-fiction was a hint that maybe that smoothness came his editors.
Rainbow Six was confirmation.

It looks like the next one will be even moreso.

Thanks to Brennan at Weblogging Considered Harmful; I'd completely forgotten that a new one was due, in all the Harry Potter excitement. :-)
