Gothic Miss Manners : advice from a Gothic perspective.
Great site design, isn't it? It was done by the mefite who introduced me to metafilter in the first place.

Friends don’t let friends dress like the Crow. Or the girl from Cry for Dawn.

Hey grabbingsand, Dawn 153-158 won an award for that contest. You should check out her other costumes. I kinda know her, hehehe. She does great costume work, and is only getting better.

I do know this woman, orange swan; not well, but we have friends in common. Jilli wasn't "dressing up" for that picture, either; that's how she looks every time she steps out of the house. I've never seen her informally dressed. She's polite, charming, and unabashedly eccentric.

With the exception of a few unfortunate emoticons, she does an admirable job of emulating the style of the venerable and incomparable Judith Martin. She's an apt apprentice.
