cool, but his taste in men leaves something to be desired--Anderson Cooper? ugh! And how many times does he have to link to his gym? (maybe they're paying him, or letting him go free?)
The marriage stuff was good, but he's caving in on the labeling thing, I think...If it talks like a duck, walks like a duck.....

He comes off as a lot more cheerful than I would have expected... the consensus in the Twin Cities is that he's a big sourpuss, but that might just be sour grapes homerism since he doesn't live around here anymore.

isn't that cool when it happens? one of my favorite singers is victoria williams and she personally answers (or used to) emails sent from her website. i met her at a show in san francisco and introduced myself as "denise from dallas" and she remembered me from our email exchange. it made my year!

"Bob is god," quoth me and my Vancouver alt-rock pals way back when.
"Yes, but Iggy is dog," replied we to ourselves.
who the fuck is bob mould?
You post that to AskMe, q, and there'll be hell to pay, by crikey. Bob Mould. He's made some music that has literally kept me alive during some rough times, long ago. He's one of my favorite musicians, ever. He rocks. [/fanboy]

I'll second (third?) Bob Mould for god. Front man of the incredible punk/hard core trio, Husker Du, then on to Sugar and solo projects. Guitar mad man and songwriting dynamo. The power and emotion in his songs will knock over mountains and make volcanos erupt. Yes yes yes, once a fanboy always a fanboy.
