Andre 3000, Meet Schroeder. Well, it's not flash, but it's good for a Friday... Charlie Brown meets OutKast.
I'm not sure which video makes me happier: this or the original (buried somewhere on MTV's site). Thanks!

It's such a great song. I've had it in my head for approximately three weeks, and I'm not yet insane.
Great job with this video, too.

It's so great that I'll donate to Venis' inevitable bandwidth crisis fund when they get their hosting bill through.

It's back up.
This helped me see Linus and Lucy's relationship in a whole new light. Clever.

pigpen and snoopy's resemblance to the bass and guitar player in the real video is *uncanny*

Classic! Never thought I'd see Charlie Brown's baby sister Sally "shake it like a Polaroid picture"!

Ever notice how a lot of the people in that Outkast video kind of look alike? Well, let me clue you in on something: they're related. That's right, it's a family band. They tour around the country in a bus!

Surprisingly good lip-synching. (or surprisingly bad, depending on your POV.)

It borders on blasphemy. The original Guaraldi music is nearly perfect, and to see the tiny-eyed innocence of these classic kids destroyed by being set to such crap-tastic "music" is just sad.

I get it. You put "music" in quotes because you don't like it. Clever.

jpoulos, I'm so glad that somebody here understands me; it's nice that you understand my cleverness.
But seriously -- you're absolutely right -- I put quotes around it to signify that I don't think of it as real music.
Well, OK, perhaps it is a few notches above, say, Marshall Mathers or Daryl Worley, but just barely. Still isn't quite music.

Yeah - I love Outkast and I'll always have a soft spot for Peanuts... but I just think mixing the two really isn't that good of an idea. Peanuts is so innocent and the Outkast song is just so adult... to mix them is... well... tacky. Still, I'm sure this video will be floating around the office on Monday morning and everyone will be talking about it - maybe it'll become the new Superfriend's "Wass-up" video.
This would have been better with something a little cheesy from the 70s or 80s.... perhaps He-Man or the Teenage Mutant Turtles or anything other than Peanuts...

Looks like their server's finally burnt out. I think we'd better prepare to contribute to their server fund. If, say, that movie was downloaded only 100,000 times, then it would have cost them $500 if they were being charged 50 cents for each gig of bandwidth.
