Britney Says... Pop Superstar Discusses Her High-Brow Faves
Britney writes about her exposure to high art and literature. The gallery is meant to help her grow as an artist, and expose her to new audiences. She doesn't want to perform for teenagers all her life, she's getting older after all. Features pictures of Britney reciting lyrics and poems. She wants to be taken seriously as a PERSON.

Isn't that what she's been doing? Lame stripping, I admit, but not much worse than the music.

It made me giggle like a schoolgirl, rschram, if that makes you feel any better. Plus, I had never heard of Ed Ruscha, The Jasmine Minks, or The Associates, and now I have. And I'm glad I did.
"Anyway, it made me want to find out more about the poet, and it turns out he's a really interesting historical American character. They ought to teach about him in High School. Or do a History Channel special on him or something. That would be so cool. I really love the History Channel."
Priceless.
