If I interpret it correctly, the message is: you can use all kinds of objects as a wireless ethernet antenna, with varying degrees of success.
Also, am I the only person to whom the term 'WiFi' makes no sense whatsoever?

pulling crazy finger: they are smart people who make working antennas for their PCs out of scraps instead of paying $$$ for brand antennas and other relatively expensive devices. What they want to show is that you can make very good things out of crap if you got knowledge and ingenuity.
On the practical side, the antennas they made are very far away from top-of-the-line weather-resistant high-reliability antennas, but their elcheapo ones nonetheless work and apparently work well.
On preview : fvw: ask marketing to do something good and they'll come 80% of the time with a meaningless, but easy to remember acronym. Probabily not already copyrighted as well.

Although it makes a bit more sense if you read it with a New Zealand accent.
