I didn't figure out it was a font until the very end, I kept expecting an ad for some kind of malt drink.

I love this font too (in admittedly an ironic way), and while I wished the story went someplace, it sure was good'n'funky like a drunken headless chicken in love should be. Right on.

I don't get why it's called Cooper Black...
Fonts are often classified by thickness (weight). Typical adjectives include thin, light, book, regular (normal), bold, heavy, black and ultra-black.
As for "Cooper", it's named after the designer, Oz Cooper.

i like this. i've seen it before but it prompted me to go out and find a truetype copy of Cooper Black.
