Giant leap for developers

Developer in space? Oracle has announced sweepstakes to send a developer into orbit. Answer a quiz and win a sub-orbital space flight. Contest is open to software developers who work with Oracle software in connection with their employment. Start cramming. Good luck! (And for the rest, with a $10,000 deposit for the $98,000 ticket, nothing stops us from booking our own space flight with Space Adventures.)
The Grand Prize includes high- risk travel. In addition to the liability release supplied by the Sponsor, the winner will be required to sign a general waiver and liability release from Space Adventures Ltd. as a prerequisite to the fulfillment of the prize.
I'll bet that's a whopper of a waiver. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall where lawyers gathered to write it. Must have been a hoot.

What do you call it when Oracle shoots a software developer into space?
A good start.
I'll be here all week, folks.

All the geeks on MeFi, I'm surprised there are no Oracle developers around here stepping up for this contest. Whasamatta? Scared of a little quiz? Or, afraid you might...WIN?
